LEARNING SPECIALIST (TRAINER)

Our Vancouver office is currently recruiting for a full-time Leaning Specialist (Trainer).
 

Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
 

Deliver and schedule training for groups or individuals, relevant to upgrades, rollouts and refresher sessions

Schedule and co-ordinate and deliver the New Hire Training Program for all new hires

Collaborate with other members of the department to design, update and maintain training and reference materials for software applications and firm procedures in both official languages.

Participate in ongoing Information Technology related projects including testing, evaluating and reporting on software and managing pilot programs.

Work with other members of the department to respond to Help Desk calls and resolve user technical issues and manage technical requests

Maintain record of all training events.

Collaborate with various departments to create and maintain precedents, document templates, forms and training curricula

 

Qualifications:
 

Minimum 5 years of training experience in a legal environment

Post secondary education in IT, Legal or equivalent knowledge and experience

Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Lotus Notes, and any other standard firm software

Excellent facilitation, presentation and coaching skills

Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner

Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Aptitude for learning new system and software

Experience in designing and writing training materials
